The Limited Edition DGT2010 is a popular game timer suitable for all two player games such as Chess, Go, Draughts, Scrabble. It has 21 pre-programmed settings for all fashionable timing methods including professional and Canadian Byo-yomi systems for Go.
The DGT2010 is easy to program, with multiple periods in all modes. It permanently stores all manual settings. Bonus and delay options are included as well as many other fun options such as gong and hourglass. The clock has very smooth lever operation and a large display; optional buzzer; player colour indication; time and move counter corrections are possible during the game.
The official chess clock of the World Chess Federation FIDE, and is in full accordance with the World Chess Federation FIDE rules and regulations.
Some features of the DGT 2010 were amended in November 2010 to comply with popular timing systems. The main differences of the new model DGT 2010 with respect to the previous version are:
The front buttons are dark blue instead of red;
For every manual option, the last setting is automatically saved. Even after switching off the timer or using other options this setting is saved;
Options for Scrabble are added;
Bronstein delay with multiple time controls can be set;
In Canadian Byo-yomi the extra time can be added automatically after the required number of moves;
Some preset times were amended to more popular settings;
